Earlobe repair is a minimally invasive office procedure performed under local anesthesia. During the procedure, our surgeon re-shapes the damaged ear using sutures. This will restore your earlobes to a natural-looking taut and healthy state. In some instances where the earlobe tissue is thin following repair, our surgeon may recommend earlobe fillers like Juvéderm® or Restylane® to add volume to the area.

Earlobe repair patients are able to resume daily activities immediately after the treatment. During recovery, our surgeon may recommend daily wound care in order to minimize the risk of infection or scarring. Sutures will be removed after one to two weeks and healing will be complete in four to six weeks.

Some patients may experience some brief swelling or bruising, though these effects typically subside on their own.
